The deadline for online applications for re-scrutiny of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examination results ends today. Students who began the process on October 17 will have the opportunity to apply until Thursday (October 23).
The information was confirmed in a notice signed by Professor S. M. Kamal Uddin Haydar, Controller of Examinations of the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
According to the notice, students can apply online between October 17 and 23. Applications must be submitted through the official website only—no manual submissions will be accepted. During the application process, students must provide their mobile phone number. Once the re-scrutiny results are published, the outcome will be sent via SMS to that number.
A fee of Tk 150 has been fixed for each paper. In the case of dual-paper subjects, applications must be submitted for both papers. The fee can be paid through bKash, Nagad, Sonali Seba, Upay, Rocket, or Teletalk SIM.
Rules for HSC Result Re-scrutiny
The HSC Result 2025 re-scrutiny application process is very simple. Students can complete it entirely online, without using a Teletalk SIM. The process involves three easy steps:
Step 1: Access the Portal and Provide Information
Go to the official re-scrutiny website: https://rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd
On the portal:
Enter your Roll Number and Registration Number.
Select your Education Board from the drop-down menu.
After ensuring all information is correct, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 2: Provide Mobile Number and Select Subjects
Once your information has been verified on the next screen, you must provide your active mobile number. The re-scrutiny result will be sent via SMS to this number after publication.
Next, your subject-wise result will be displayed. Select the subject or subjects you wish to challenge and click on the ‘Pay Fee’ button.
Step 3: Pay the Fee and Submit the Application
Payment of the re-scrutiny fee is the final step in the process.
Application Fee: Tk 150 per paper.
Payment Methods: You can pay via bKash, Nagad, Sonali Seba, DBBL Rocket, or Teletalk SIM.
After successful payment, return to the portal and click the ‘Submit’ button to confirm your application.
Important Notes Regarding Re-scrutiny
No Refunds: Once the fee is paid, applications cannot be canceled, and no refund will be issued under any circumstances.
Application Period: From October 17 to October 23, 2025. Applications must be completed within this timeframe.
Adding More Subjects: After initial submission, applicants may add more subjects later without refilling all information.
Result Publication: Re-scrutiny results are generally published about 30 days after the application deadline.
