The results of the 2025 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examination re-scrutiny are likely to be published on 16 November, according to officials of the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
Officials confirmed the probable date to the media on Saturday (25 October), stating that the results are being processed in line with the usual procedural timeframe.

Board officials explained that, as per regulations, the re-scrutinised results must be released within 30 days of the application deadline. Based on this rule, the expected release date has been set for 16 November.
The re-scrutiny or “script challenge” application process began on 17 October and concluded on 23 October.
According to a notice from the Dhaka Education Board, this year applications were accepted exclusively online.
Unlike previous years, there was no option to apply via SMS, and no direct submissions were accepted at any education board office, the Ministry of Education, or any other institution.

The 2025 HSC and equivalent examinations commenced on 26 June and concluded on 19 August, followed by the practical examinations held from 21 to 31 August.
A total of 1,251,111 candidates from 11 education boards across Bangladesh participated in this year’s examinations.
The re-scrutiny results, once released, are expected to provide relief to many students who have sought re-evaluation of their answer scripts after this year’s significantly lower pass rate.
