This year, a total of 1,93,258 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinees have applied for re-evaluation of their answer scripts across 11 education boards in Bangladesh, submitting a total of 4,28,458 script review requests.
According to officials from the Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, the results of these re-scrutiny applications are expected to be published on 16 November.
Professor S. M. Kamal Uddin Haider, Controller of Examinations at the Dhaka Board, confirmed the information to Daily Shiksha.

The re-scrutiny process began on 17 October and continued until 23 October.
According to an official notification from the Dhaka Education Board, this year’s application procedure was conducted entirely online.
Unlike previous years, SMS-based applications were not accepted. Additionally, no direct applications were received at education boards, the Ministry of Education, or any other office.
The results of the 2025 HSC and equivalent examinations were published on 16 October.
Out of 12,35,661 total candidates, 7,26,960 students passed across the 11 education boards.

This marks a drop of 18.44 percentage points in the overall pass rate and a decline of 76,814 students achieving a perfect GPA-5 compared with the previous year.
